How to update KYC for FASTag online?

IHMCL and the banks who provide FASTag may identify and validate their clients through the Know Your Customer (KYC) procedure, which is a crucial onboarding procedure. By completing the KYC procedure, you contribute essential documentation and personal data that support the establishment of your identification and guarantee safe transactions. It is advisable to update your KYC information with the bank as soon as possible if there are any changes.

The deadline has been extended to 29th February 2024, for both the OneVehicle OneFASTag programme and finishing the KYC update for your most recent FASTag. Prior to this, 31st January 2024, was the deadline for KYC updates.

You must present one of the following Official Valid Documents in order to comply with RBI rules for KYC compliance:

* Driving license
* Voter’s ID
* Permanent Account Number (PAN)
* Aadhaar
* Job card issued by the NREGA and signed by an official of the State Government

A copy of your vehicle's registration certificate (RC) must be submitted with the KYC documents.

To update FASTag KYC on the FASTag portal follow these simple steps.

1. Go to https://fastag.ihmcl.com/ to access the official FASTag Portal.
2. Enter your mobile number and one-time password (OTP) to log in.
3. Locate the "My Profile" link on the homepage, then choose the KYC tab.
4. Maintain a copy of your driver's licence, address evidence, identification proof, and car registration certificate close to hand.
5. Fill out all necessary information and you are done.

Steps to update FASTag KYC on your bank or issuing authority portal.

1. Go to the bank's or the issuing authority's official website to obtain your FASTag.
2. Enter your login information to access the bank's website.
3. After logging in, proceed to the KYC area and then search for the FASTag segment.
4. Maintain a copy of your driver's licence, address evidence, identification proof, and car registration certificate close to hand.
5. After completing all required fields, you are finished.

How to update KYC for FASTag offline?

You must make a request to the FASTag issuing bank in order to update your FASTag KYC information offline. To do this, go to the bank branch that is closest to you and get your FASTag. One should fill the application form at the bank branch with current information and its supporting documents. The bank will then update the FASTag account with this new information. Updating the KYC in FASTag can also be assisted by the relationship manager.
