What is the validity of FASTag?

FASTag comes with 5 years validity from the date of purchase until it depreciates due to wear and tear or is tampered with. If it is damaged or can't be read at toll plazas, you can request for tag replacement by paying a one-time fee. FASTag renewal has to be done as per applicable slab at the renewal time.

To raise a replacement / renewal request, contact the tag issuing bank with your mobile number against which the tag has been registered along with the vehicle registration number or tag ID.
